CIRS Group Invited to Attend COSMOBEAUTY SEOUL 2025, Highlighting China-Korea Cosmetics Compliance and Market Opportunities

From May 28 to 30, 2025, CIRS Group was invited to participate in the 39th COSMOBEAUTY SEOUL, held at the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul, South Korea. As one of the most influential beauty industry events in Asia, the exhibition brought together renowned cosmetics and beauty companies, industry experts, and professionals from around the world. The event covered a wide range of sectors including skincare, haircare, beauty devices, ingredients, and packaging, showcasing the latest technological innovations and market trends in the cosmetics industry.

A series of high-level industry seminars were held concurrently with the exhibition, covering cutting-edge topics such as “Global Marketing”, “Global Trend and Solution” and the “Functional Cosmetics R&D Innovation Forum”. These sessions attracted industry experts, representatives from research institutions, and senior executives from around the world to exchange insights on the latest developments and future directions of the global cosmetics industry.

At the “Global Certification and Regulatory Seminar” held on May 30, Ms. April Guo, General Manager of Personal and Home Care Division at CIRS Group, was invited to deliver a speech titled “Latest Update of Cosmetics Regulations in China and How to Export Korean Cosmetics to China”. In her presentation, Ms. Guo provided an in-depth analysis of the current Chinese cosmetics market by systematically reviewing 2024 data on registered and filed domestic and imported cosmetics. She offered a comprehensive interpretation of recent regulatory updates, with a particular focus on the full version of the Safety Assessment requirements officially implemented in May 2025.

Building on this foundation, Ms. Guo outlined the regulatory procedures and key compliance requirements for Korean cosmetics entering the Chinese market. Drawing on CIRS’s extensive experience in regulatory consulting, she also shared several representative case studies, offering practical insights to help enterprises navigate evolving policies and expand into China with greater efficiency and confidence.
