We had a great time at CHEMUK 2025, reconnecting with familiar faces and engaging in insightful conversations with both existing clients and new contacts. The event provided a vibrant platform for meaningful exchanges, new ideas, and promising connections across the chemical and processing sectors.
A special highlight for our team was Adam Hembrecht’s presentation on “Chemical Regulatory Challenges in China – How to Manage Compliance in the Supply Chain.” Delivered on Wednesday, May 21 at Stage 3, Adam shared practical insights on key issues such as MEE Order 12 (China REACH), QR code and labelling requirements, and GHS updates [presentation available on request]. His session drew strong engagement and sparked valuable follow-up discussions with attendees.
This year’s CHEMUK show broke records, with over 5,000 attendees — a 12% increase from 2024, not including exhibitors. The atmosphere throughout Hall 5 at NEC Birmingham was electric, with constant activity across the exhibition floor, breakout meetings, and conference sessions.
Show founder and CEO Ian Stone summed it up perfectly:
“This year set a new ‘high-water mark’ for CHEMUK’s appeal & influence... The show was absolutely buzzing with engagement and busy aisles in every corner of the giant Hall 5.”
He also praised the show’s knowledge-sharing focus:
“It’s where experts from all points step out of their ‘more specialised silos’ and share knowledge, ideas, foster collaboration, understanding, joined-up solutions and consensus on an ‘industry’ scale.”
For us, CHEMUK 2025 reaffirmed the importance of coming together as an industry. We left with new connections, fresh insights, and even more enthusiasm for what’s ahead. Thank you to everyone who stopped by — see you next year!
